Totley Swift Group Update

Supporters of, and contributors to, Birds on the Brink appreciate feedback from grant recipients about how their funded projects are progressing. So we were thrilled to hear from the Totley Swift Group, a Sheffiled-based band of committed enthusiasts that BOTB was able to help earlier in the year.

As well as helping Swifts directly through the provision of nestboxes, the group has also engaged with the local community, as featured in a report in the Sheffield Telegraph. This engagement helps spread the word about the plight of beleaguered Swifts.

Totley’s latest Swift boxes have Birds on the Brink carved into their structure by way of an acknowledgement for the grant.
